Acrylic on Gesso & TouchDesigner
diptych examines the dissonance between our physical and digital selves, exploring the ways in which self-perception, memory, and emotional processing are reshaped in an online world. Through a collection of acrylic paintings, printed text placards, and an interactive projection, the installation invites viewers into an inquisitive, diaristic exploration of identity in flux. Each of the five acrylic paintings contains two layered images—one red, one blue—obscured or revealed based on the viewer’s movement. A red-light body-tracking projection follows visitors through the space, making them both observer and participant in the shifting landscape of the work.
